
Dr. Tamare P. Piersaint, Psy.D.
Dr. Piersiant is married to her husband of almost 14 years, together they have an active 13-year-old son.
Dr. Tamare P. Piersaint has 15 years+ of experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. In addition to being the owner of Serenity for Youth & Families, Dr. Piersaint has served as the Clinical Program Director for Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic of UPMC’s inpatient psychiatric units. She is the Chair of the Child & Family Institute at California University of Pennsylvania (CALU), past chair of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association Graduate Students board, has served on the UPMC & Community Patient Relations Committee, the Allegheny County Minority Emergency Preparedness Tasks Force, was a founding member of Allegheny County Human Services “Welcoming Pittsburgh” initiative among others.
Dr. Piersaint is also an academic, she is an Assistant Professor in the undergraduate Department of Psychology and graduate School Psychology program at CALU.
